Instead of a traditional wedding registry, we are doing this fundraiser because we lack big basic essentials that no one person would be able to buy off a registry on their own: a mattess, bedframe, nightstands, a TV and stand (wall-mounting is not permitted in the apartment), a desk, lamps, bookshelves... basically, we need furniture, and/or something to put toward an apartment-security-deposit/first month's rent, and/or something to offset the cost of moving the groom 140 miles northeast so we can finally end this long-distance madness :)
