Wedding Gift from the GopherIllustrated Community

Great googly moogly GopherIllustrated's very own Ryan (Burnsie) Burns is getting married!

While some of you may blame him for sabotaging our chances of playing in the Rose Bowl by scheduling his wedding for December 31st, gophmeister has suggested that we show some peace and love by pulling together a wedding gift to Burnsie and his bride from the GopherIllustrated Community.

After much screaming into the ether and many pre-production meetings, someone slid into our Twitter mentions with the idea of a GoFundMe.

But sweet mother of Moses, what should we set for a goal, and what would it go towards? Given that there are over 2,000 GopherIllustrated subscribers who appreciate Burnsie's nursing of their Gopher Addiction, an average contribution of just 500 pennies would yield of $10,000. And after conspiring with second cousins not named Burns, it was determined that they would likely be molly whopped to have a contribution to their honeymoon fund.

So let's pull our community together and make the honeymoon of Burnsie and his new bride a honeymoon to remember. It doesn't matter if you kick in $5, $50, or $500, let Burnsie know we appreciate him, and wish the happy couple the best in their life together!
