UPDATE AS OF 2/2/2021: I am 24 years old and have Stage 4 Triple Negative Breast Cancer.. AS OF Oct 2020my cancer returned to my lungs after being NED in May 2020. November 2020 showed small progression. And these most recent scans show small progression as well. Again, small. But its still progression and we can only hope it stays very small or starts to stay stable. I will have my next scans to see if my breast cancer has progressed or not while being on Xeloda (oral chemo.)

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Triple Negative Breast Cancer 10/31/2019. I started IV chemo Nov 21st 2019 and finished April 29th 2020. 5 days after I had to have an appendectomy. My double mastectomy was May 28th 2020. Radiation started July and ended August 31st 2020. I was declared No evidence of Disease in May before my double mastectomy. We were so relieved! August 1st 2020 my incredible man proposed to me the same spot we had our first date 3 years ago. We pray my scans stay small or stable to still have our wedding in September 2021 but we don't know how this will go. My hope is to help my fiance out who has been working his butt off to help save for our wedding next year but we may come up short for quite a few memorable things, especially to have someone do a video of the wedding ❤ To all those who read my story and share, thank you so much. I'd obviously pay myself.. but I don't have that kind of income and depending how scans continue to go, we may have to do a wedding a lot sooner.
