Unplanned medical emergency

On May 3, 2019 I went to the emergency room with sever abdominal pain and had to have 5 hour emergency surgery to repair a hole in my lower intestine. I had tp spend several days in ICU, had to have a second surgery to repair the original incision that had burst and had to have an endoscopy to repair a bleeding ulcer that caused my hemoglobin t drop to 5 and required 4 units of blood. After 2 and a half weeks I was finally discharged home with a 10 inch open abdominal incision and an ileostomy. I was also diagnosed with a previously unknown heart condition (atrial fibrillation).I am self -employed and uninsured. There has been no new income coming in since May 3. The doctors say it will be 6-8 weeks before the open incision heals and I can even  think about getting back to work part time (self-employed appliance repairman). Since my wife died unexpectedly in 2014, it has been a struggle to keep up with all the bills with one source of income. My grown son, who falls on the Asperger's scale, lives with me and is not employed. There will need to be a second surgery in 3-6 month to reverse the ileostomy. So just as I'm getting healthy enough to get back to work, another delay. I am unsure at this time what the extent of my medical bills will be. I am working with the financial department of the hospital to see if I qualify for any discount. Currently I am having to pay for medication and wound care supplies out of pocket. (the open wound has to be packed with wet gauze and changed twice a day and the ileostomy set changed twice a week). My immediate concern is not having the money to pay the monthly bills - mortgage, utilities, food, prescription meds, wound care supplies etc). The bills are already piling up, so funds are needed right away. Any donations received will help carry us through this unexpected hard times and give us peace of mind while recovering.
