Hello! I’m a trans girl reaching out for help paying rent for the month.

I have been unmedicated and off hormones for months now, as well as having numerous medical issues i havent been able to afford to adress, after my job cut my hours. This cut was in response to me reporting a coworkers violent transphobia and misogyny. Recently, I lost this job completely, meaning I can not pay for even rent this month.

I have been struggling financially for quite some time; surviving off of the food bank and generosity of loved ones. I have applied for unemployment, however my workplace will not provide the required forms. This made the application tedious, and the process much more lengthy than it needed to be.

In the meantime, I am reaching out to ask if anyone who is capable to help me pay at least rent this month. I have already made it out of homelessness once before, into my current home; so if you can (any small amount helps!) please consider donating so I can avoid falling back into it.

I also organize shows (mostly independently!) at this apartment, and if I were unable to continue living here, the shows would likely cease. If youve enjoyed the shows at Collectif Villeneuve and want to keep enjoying them, please consider donating.
