Most of us in the wedding and photography community know Jaimi Weatherspoon and her sweet family and most of us have been loved and taken care of by Jaimi.

A few days ago her youngest son, Jordan was admitted to the hospital for the third time in a month and is currently awaiting final results for a really rare autoimmune disease that affects only 1 in 1 million kids a year. They are suspecting it to be Myasthenia Gravis.

Not only is this a rare neuromuscular disease, but it also comes with many challenges for both Jordan and his family.

They have a long road ahead of them including treatments, therapy and Doctor visits.

After three hospital stays, it’s been a heavy weight financially for both Jay and Jaimi as they have had to take time away from work to be with Jordan and to work with doctors to figure out Jordan’s care. There is still much to figure out and more time that they will need to take away from work to work through all the necessary treatments that Jordan will require.

With the incurred medical expenses, as well as the loss of income for both Jay and Jaimi, I am asking for your help, the only way I can. For this community to help support this family in time of need so that they can focus and be there for their son without the stress of having to worry so much about the finances. I ask for a donation of anything you may be able to spare. Nothing is too small to donate. Even if it’s not donating money here, maybe it’s dropping off a meal to them, sending grub hub or Uber eats to them or just simply sending your prayers and your love.
