Weasley’s veterinary expenses

Hi, my name is Mirella, and I live in a peaceful Wexford area with my husband and our two beloved cats. Last Wednesday, our world was turned upside down when our sweet boy, Weasley, was hit by a car. The driver didn’t stop, but thankfully, two kind neighbors found Weasley and rushed him to the nearest vet.

After an initial assessment, it became clear that Weasley needed specialized care, so the next day, we drove him to a veterinary specialist in Dublin. The news was heartbreaking: Weasley has suffered multiple injuries, including fractures to his upper and lower jaw. One of his eyes will need to be removed, and we’re uncertain about the vision in his remaining eye.

Weasley is a fighter, and we’re doing everything we can to give him the best chance at recovery. However, the cost of his surgeries and ongoing care is overwhelming. We would be incredibly grateful for any support you can offer to help us cover his veterinary expenses.

UPDATE: his lower jaw moved a bit but it’s functional and he doesn’t feel pain, so we will leave as it it’s, to fix would need another big surgery and we don’t want to put him through more than necessary. Unfortunately both of his eyes had to be removed. He is home now, we are adapting everything we can in the house to make his life easier and happier.

Weasley is a truth Gryffindor: bold, brave and loyal. We are positive that in a few days he will be fully recovered and he will adapt to his new condition soon.

We love our boy very much and we are really proud of how brave and strong he is!
