The Idea
So much of my perspective on life and what is possible is a direct result of my parent's relentlessness in giving me and my sisters the proper experiences as kids (they always chose to spend on an experience instead of materialistic items) whether that was volunteer work, traveling, or a combination of both. In hindsight, it was their belief in this ethos which has shaped me into the successful entrepreneur I am today.
I believe many successful people would attribute a large part of their success to such experiences. Unfortunately, there are many youths today that are not in the financial position to travel and see the realm of possibilities beyond a 5-10 mile radius of their home.

The Mission
This is why I have started Wear the Future, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Wear the Future is a passion project of mine which utilizes the sale of merchandise with all proceeds going to sponsor a child in need, allowing them to travel to a 3rd world country. This could be as close as Mexico or as far as Thailand. These expeditions will be half enjoyment, half volunteer work, where kids will help those less fortunate than themselves, forge relationships, experience other cultures and most importantly, gain a perspective that will shape the rest of their lives.

It's ambitious for sure, but we already have several schools from the Los Angeles Unified School District in our pilot programs.
The Goal
Our goal here is to raise enough funds to cover the costs for teachers from these schools to chaperone the trips. With your help, I believe we can make a lasting impact that is much more organic and therefore more likely to instigate a permanent change in a child's behaviour.
Please join our mission at Wear the Future. Every little bit helps!
