UPDATE 6/14/26

WE HAVE A STATION!

Because of your generosity, the Wear It For Conner Life Jacket Station is officially built and installed at the Port Neches Park boat ramp!

What started as an idea to honor Conner's memory has become something real—a place where families can borrow a life jacket, stay safe on the water, and hopefully prevent another family from experiencing the heartbreak we have endured.

The station was installed on Conner's birthday, making the moment even more special. Since then, it has been beautifully hand-painted by an amazing local artist, turning it into not only a safety resource but also a meaningful tribute to Conner's life and love for the outdoors.

We are now stocking the station with life jackets for the community. Life jackets with tags are available to borrow and return, while others may be taken by families in need. Donations of life jackets are always welcome and will help us continue expanding this mission.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who donated, shared, prayed, encouraged, and believed in this project. Every dollar helped make this possible. Seeing Conner's legacy grow into something that can save lives means more than words can express.

Together, we are making a difference—one life jacket at a time.

There are no words that truly explain what it feels like to lose a child.

On Memorial Day weekend, my son Conner lost his life in a boating accident. He wasn’t wearing a life jacket.

That one moment… that one missing piece… changed everything forever.

If I could go back, I would do anything to change that day. But I can’t.

What I can do is try to make sure another family never has to feel this kind of pain.

In Conner’s memory, I am raising money to purchase life jackets to hand out to boaters during Memorial Day weekend—especially to kids and families who may not have one.

I am also working toward placing a Life Jacket Station at Port Neches Park—a place where anyone can borrow a life jacket when they need one. A simple resource that could save a life.

Because the truth is… it only takes one second.

One accident.

One missed precaution.

And a life jacket can be the difference between life and death.

If even one person puts one on because of Conner… if even one life is saved… then his story is still making a difference.

Please help me honor my son by helping protect others.
