Support Donna’s Fight Against Her Glioblastoma Brain Tumor

Our family is humbly asking for support as our beloved mother, Donna, begins the fight of her life.

Just days ago, our world changed forever when Donna was diagnosed with late-stage Glioblastoma, an aggressive and fast-growing form of brain cancer. Emergency brain surgery was performed, and over 90% of the tumor was successfully removed, but a remaining portion cannot safely be taken out. Immunology, and the inevitable potential for pinpoint radiation and chemotherapy, will be ongoing as rehabilitation will now begin — the start of what we hope will be a long, determined battle, with time being our most precious resource.

Despite everything she is facing, Donna’s strength and spirit remain extraordinary. She wakes every day with grace, gratitude, and an unbelievable will to fight. She is the heart of our family — a mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and the person everyone calls when they need guidance, comfort, or a warm laugh. She has spent her entire life caring for others; now it is our turn to care for her.

Donna is the definition of unconditional love. As a mother, she has always led with patience, wisdom, and a fierce devotion to her family. As a grandmother, she is a source of pure joy — cheering at every game, celebrating every milestone, and filling every room with warmth, laughter, and light. Her faith has always been her anchor, and in these moments, it continues to give her strength, peace, and hope. We know that she believes in God’s plan, and in the power of prayer to move any obstacles put in her path.

Why We Are Asking for Help

The financial burden of this diagnosis is overwhelming. Even with insurance, the costs ahead include:

• Specialized, and extensive cancer treatments and medications

• Radiation and chemotherapy over the next 12–18 months

• Rehabilitation and cognitive therapy following brain surgery

• Transportation for hospital and specialist appointments

• Extensive caregiving needs
