Our hearts are shattered from the unimaginable loss of our student and friend, Leah Fielder. Thank you, Lord, for blessing us with 17 years of Leah’s beautiful, precious self on Earth, and 13 of those years of Leah’s presence at our school. To say that she left an impact on our community would be an understatement. She lived her life to the fullest…knowing the exact words to give when a friend needed encouragement, glorifying God through every breath she breathed, and always being sunshine in darkness. Her infectious smile and personality will forever live in our hearts.
As we lay Leah to rest, we feel comfort in knowing Jesus welcomed our sweet girl at the Golden Gates of Heaven and said, “There’s No Place Like Home. Welcome Home, my faithful servant.”
Through these dark times, we pray that we all learn to “Live Like Leah”: be gentle and humble, love one another like Jesus did, be a true friend to everyone, and most importantly, always be kind. What a privilege it has been to know and to love Leah Fielder❤️
“In the same way, let your light shine so others can see it. Then they will see the good things you do. And they will bring glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
