Raiden is an amazing, funny, energetic and loving boy! He will be 3 years old soon (12/9 ❤️) and is the one who is certain to put a smile on your face and a hug around your neck! He loves cartoons, superheroes, boxing and playing with his brother Cameron and cousin Alina. His favorite show is Dragon Ball Z and he really loves GOKU! You will always find him running around the house doing his famous #KAMEHAMEHA, #SPIRITBOMBS and all the famous #DRAGONBALLZ moves!

Three weeks ago Raiden started having eye issues. Within only a few days, what we thought was a lazy eye, turned into a life threatening cancerous brain tumor. Immediately, he was air-lifted to John Hopkins Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Last Monday, he underwent brain surgery to biopsy and remove the tumor. We were told that this was a very difficult procedure as the tumor is located in the middle of the brain stem and is often rare and inoperable. During the surgery, they were able to remove 90% of the tumor and it looked like it was level one and benign. Raidens surgery resulted in nerve damage to the right side of his face and body, it has affected his ability to walk, talk and even drinking and eating are more difficult now. We are hopeful that with physical therapy and time to heal he will regain his movements and control as the swelling from the surgery subsides. He was scheduled to start intensive physical therapy this week in Tampa. Seeing a beautiful and heathy toddler go in for any surgery is hard enough... but to have him emerge unable to do all the things he was physically doing before he went in, is heartbreaking and emotionally challenging... While we were waiting for a bed to become available in Tampa, the doctors received the biopsy report and it was not a benign tumor at all, instead it was our worst fears confirmed... A malignant level 4 tumor called ETANTR, which is aggressive and fast growing... We must immediately start cancer treatment and Tampa will have to wait.

Today, Raiden has been scheduled to start 9 months of intense chemotherapy including a rare and unique clinical trial starting next week. This beautiful young family will continue to place their life on hold while Raiden receives his treatment. The road ahead of them is overwhelming and difficult with months of hospital stays, treatments, surgeries and unknown outcomes as this cancer diagnosis is life threatening and often fatal. Family and close friends are trying to help as best they can and would like to help alleviate some of the financial burdens and assist with medical, travel and relocation related expenses so that this family can focus on fighting this devastating battle together and help Raiden #KAMEHAMEHA this pediatric brain tumor!

It's going to take a ton of love, prayers, time, energy, and finances to overcome this heart wrenching diagnosis. His mom (Valynn), dad (Jarad) and big brother (Cameron) have the love and support of their family and friends and we are asking you to help us join Raiden’s fight!

Please PRAY for our Raiden... and if there is anything that you are able to give to help our family during this time will be greatly appreciated... We fully understand that the current economic climate has affected many, so if you are not in a position to donate, all we ask is that you pray and keep Raiden in your positive thoughts and well wishes. Please share, repost and forward this on... We need every positive healing vibe to win this battle...
