We will walk... so kids in Ghana don't have to

Donation protected
We (Helen, Ben, and our children Naphtali, Zion and Reuben) are going back out to Ghana in Easter 2026! We are going to help run holiday activities, and invest in the kids of Hoffnung ("Hope") Academy - a school started by Andrew and Sarah Nai-Mensah, to provide quality education to children in a rural area near Somanya.

We as a family have committed to walking 100 miles during March in order to raise money so these kids don't have to walk! But instead, we can keep the school buses running and enable them to participate in all the activities over the Easter break.

One of the huge challenges for the children in rural areas is transport... many have to walk long distances to the nearest school - and Hoffnung Academy has 3 old school buses to pick the children up. However keeping these buses maintained, fuelled and on the road is a never-ending challenge!

All the money we raise will go directly to the school.

Here is Andrew and Sarah sharing the vision of Hoffnung academy:

Thanks for your support! Every small donation goes an incredibly long way out in Ghana. Their currency (the cedi) is less strong against the pound currently, and so our donations from the UK are even more helpful to them economically than ever before.

Thanks again from all of us!
