We want to get Dad home!

Hello everyone, I’m Roy Alexander’s oldest daughter Jessica. Along with my siblings Charissa, Ryan & Brandon we are putting this together for our parents. Roy was diagnosed with severe acute pancreatitis in the beginning of October, and hospitalized for 10 days. Roy was able to come home for 4 days before being rushed back to the hospital. He was then transported by ambulance to Philadelphia where he’s been in the ICU for the last several weeks. He has truly been fighting for his life, to the point we got a call saying he wasn’t going to make it. Dad was fully sedated and paralyzed for several days. He is still currently sedated, on kidney dialysis, has a ventilator, and about 15 other lines hooked up to him. You can imagine the toll this has taken on him. He is fighting so hard! If he is able to improve, we’re looking at several months of care to come. Medical expenses are already piling on. I know this is such a brief over view, but this has been the hardest time in our lives both mentally and physically. This time last year, mom still had stage 3 cancer. As the holidays are fast approaching, I know times are hard. If you would please continue to pray, we greatly appreciate it! We need his endless jokes and humor back to all of us!
