Dear customers, friends and our community,

I am Jana and I’m the person behind Sfera. I’m the one who came up with the concept for Sfera, put together the menu and created this wonderful little universe in the heart of Rixdorf in Neukölln. Of course, none of this would ever have happened without the help of so many wonderful people who have worked with me and supported me on this crazy journey, and without you, our loyal customers.

Today, I am reaching out to you with a request for help.

At the start of this summer, we received an unexpected tax bill for 2024 amounting to €17,000. It has been an incredibly stressful two months for me and my team since then. We have all been working hard, and I have been trying to find a way to pay this amount, but unfortunately, in the middle of summer (which is the worst time of year for our business), it looks as though we won’t be able to put the money together for it without your help. The situation is truly desperate, as we have no financial reserves – we have never had any hidden investors or business partners we could turn to for money, and I simply cannot take out any more personal loans. We opened Sfera after the Covid pandemic and, to be honest, it’s a constant struggle, but somehow we’re managing to carry on and not give up. I think the reason we’re still here as a restaurant is, above all, because we love what we do here. And I really don’t want to give up. That’s why I’ve decided, at this point, to try organising this crowdfunding CAMPAIGN, which might still turn things around.
