Most of us will never know what it’s like to lay in a bed paralyzed, scared, hurting, and not knowing if one day you will walk again. Oh Lord, the things we take for granted. Many of us are parents and our children are the most precious and most loved beings in our entire world. What if one day you received a call that your child, your everything, had just been in a terrible accident and most likely would never walk again, have control of their bowels, or ever have children of their own because they were paralyzed from the crash? Your world and heart stops right then and right there.

Friends and family it’s time to come together to help in a way that matters. Not only does Zane need our dedicated and steadfast prayers for healing, but also financially. His recovery will be a very long painstaking battle. His accident happened on the evening of April 13th and he underwent a 6 1/2 hour surgery. He was told the worst thing he would ever hear at just 22 years old. You may never walk again and two years from now may show us what potential you may have, if any.

Zane understands the hard truth and he is determined to fight his way through this, but it will be difficult and many times he may feel like giving up. Let’s show him we are here for him, we are thinking of him, we support him, and that he need not be burdened right now with how his mother will make ends meet to provide for his special needs. Zane has been transferred to Sheltering Arms in Short Pump. He will have many needs when he returns home and without health insurance there will be a huge financial struggle ahead. Being handicapped requires many home adjustments, transportation needs, and much more than we can imagine right now. The certainty of his abilities with recovery are extremity uncertain.
