Mid-June Jon was diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma, liver cancer. Over the last several weeks he has been in & out of the hospital while undergoing a multitude of tests, scans & surgical procedures.

Jon is scheduled to undergo surgery this Friday, 7/28, to remove 2/3 of his liver. The good news is, no chemo or radiation! The bad news? He will have another multiple-day hospital stay following surgery & is expected to be off work for 2 months.

This road has already had more than its share of bumps. Their income has decreased substantially due to lost time at work for both Jon & Felicia. That, compounded with the increasing medical bills & travel to/from the Portland hospital for care by his team of doctors, has caused a great deal of financial strain.

Jon & Felicia have a large circle of family & friends. Those of us lucky enough to be a part of that circle have been blessed by their generous hearts time & time again. It is time to rally the troops & return the love.
