We run for Malala Fund!

We are Damesdispuut Spooky, and together we stand strong to raise as much money as possible for something that connects us all: the right to education.

We have had the opportunity to attend university and college, where we’ve built lifelong friendships and grown into who we are today. Unfortunately, not every girl has access to the same opportunities.

That’s why we’re launching a fundraising campaign during our lustrum year with the event Run your Color! While everyone runs the distance they’re capable of, we all run together for the same goal.

As part of this event, we are participating in the Enschede Marathon, where members of our sorority will be running different distances— 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, or maybe even 42 km — or joining the cheer squad to encourage and support our runners!

In addition, other members of our sorority will be participating in various events, such as the Rotterdam Marathon, to raise even more awareness and funds for this vital cause.

All the funds we raise will be donated to the Malala Fund, an organization that works tirelessly to ensure every girl has access to 12 years of free, safe, and quality education.

With this action, we hope to move closer to a world where education is a right for all girls, everywhere.
