This year as we approach Eid Al-Adha, "Festival of Sacrifice", as well as what I want to do differently this year, in this month, for my birthday, I am donating $1,000 to help our brothers and sisters, innocent children, families and anyone in need.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another but that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah but that Allah raises his status.”

I was inspired by not only an acquaintance, a friend, but a brother who does something very similar (you know who you are), and it inspired me in the most beautiful way ever - giving back, as I have been given and blessed, Alhamdillulah.
The goal or mission is to raise whatever I (we) can with your help, and again, with your help and trust select a few foundations to donate the proceeds to.
