Hi, my name is Sarah and my partner Phil and I need your help. Those of you that know me would know just how difficult this has been to do but a dear friend of mine suggested doing this and I realise now that I need help and this way hopefully I will get some.

My partner and I were coping okay with him doing odd jobs and me in receipt of sickness benefits. From January the 17th 2025 everything changed, my partner was diagnosed with lung cancer, the tumour being so large that they could not operate so they decided to start him on chemotherapy.

At the same time the social security decided to stop my benefits, while we still do not know why, I would need to get a lawyer to find out what the situation is but unfortunately we have no money.

We were told at the end of last week that the chemotherapy has not worked, so they want to start him on radiotherapy to try to control the bleeding that he is suffering from. We have put everything we own up for sale but nothing is selling, my friends and family have been there for us and have done everything they can to help, but we now we find ourselves in a position where we cannot afford our own medication.

As I said at the beginning, you all know me well and the fact that I am finding it so hard to ask as I know how many of your are struggling yourselves, but please, if you can spare us anything at all you know how grateful we would be. To be able to pay our rent, bills and look after our animals for the next couple of months would be a huge weight lifted of our shoulders. So please, if you can help, it would be wonderful of you.
