Sheryl Frances Clark, a Jamaican mother, sister, and friend had a vision of going to America for a few months to work and improve her family’s life with some house improvements and gifts.
Like many of us who have traveled she took a live-in job with great expectation of being rewarded. The days were long, and the nights longer as she got less and less rest. Being away from her family was especially stressful and the yearning of home comfort became overbearing. On a fateful day in October the ambulance was called. She was taken to the hospital and placed on a “Life Supporting” machine because she could no longer function on her own.
Many calls were made to find her location until a “well checkup” was made to her last known residence where the police were informed of her plight. After many frantic calls and research, a family member was located and allowed an exit visa to visit her before the plug was to be pulled.
Sheryl passed away without a paycheck, without her pieces of clothing and without the joyous reunion with her children and friends. The expenses that were incurred to find her and now to take her back home rests on us her family and friends.
Please stand in support of a dream cut short by giving a donation to this “go fund me” to take Sheryl to her resting place, Jamaica.
Thank you for support and prayers.
