We Out Here Surviving: Help Meryl with their living expenses

Hey everyone,

I’m Meryl, and with me is my pup Abeni. I’m a person in a helping profession going through some tough times. I’m used to helping others, but now I could really use some support myself.

My online workplace is shutting down its operations in my state, but they haven’t fired me. Instead, the hours they’re giving me have continued to dwindle - and while I’ve offered to pick up admin hours or get certified in another state, they seem determined in their efforts to make me quit. I’ve been doing everything I can on the side to support Abeni and I, but my chronic health issues have meant that even that’s not enough to keep a roof over my head. So I’ve organized this hoping that some of the support that I’ve given to others over the years will return to me.

This fundraiser will cover essential living expenses and Abeni’s care. Donating if you can - and sharing my link if you can’t - will help give me the financial and emotional space I need to make decisions about my present situation and future from a rooted place instead of from a fearful one.
