This is Gator and his daddy Charles. They've been best buddies since Charles ended his last deployment in Iraq. Gator has guided his daddy through the darkest days, his struggles with service related PTSD, and has helped him find a path to sobriety. It isn't a stretch to say that Gator has been a faithful and loyal companion and improved Charles' life. But now Gator needs our help. His bowel has perforated and he has become septic. All resources have been exhausted working up to this diagnosis and Gator needs immediate life-saving surgery and potentially extensive after care.
