A principios de julio de 2020, Manu ( Manuel Jose Chalbaud Hernandez ) comenzó a mostrar un color de piel muy pálido y no el mismo nivel de energía que siempre tenía, por lo que sus padres ( Ana Carolina Hernandez mi hermana y David Chalbaud ) decidieron llevarlo a su médico para un chequeo de rutina.
El 17 de julio de 2020, sus padres recibieron una muy triste noticia, a Manuel le diagnosticaron Leucemia Mieloide Aguda, uno de los tipos de leucemia más agresivos.
Manuel es un niño de 11 años que vive en Venezuela con sus padres y su hermana de 14 años. Desafortunadamente, debido a la situación económica en Venezuela, no tienen seguro de salud. Las condiciones de vida en Venezuela son precarias y es extremadamente difícil obtener los suministros médicos necesarios para un tratamiento que pudiera alcanzar los 2 años. Hay solo unos pocos hospitales que cuentan con el equipo y los suministros necesarios para la quimioterapia.
Con tu apoyo, lograremos cubrir el tratamiento y el posible trasplante de médula ósea que los doctores anticipan.

Yo soy la tia de Manuel Jose Chalbaud ( quien vive en Venezuela ) . Mi nombre es Aurea Cristina Hernandez y vivo en EEUU ( Miami ).
Yo inicie esta campana a petición de mi hermana, para ayudar a mi sobrino a cubrir los gastos medicos, medicinas, transfusiones, hospitalización, tratamiento de quimioterapia, así como los gastos de hogar, ya que ambos su papa y su mama no pueden trabajar por el momento. La idea es que ellos se dediquen al cuidado de Manuel, a conseguir sus medicamentos, y a realizar todos los tramites necesarios para su recuperacion.
At the beginning of July 2020, Manu (Manuel Jose Chalbaud Hernandez), started showing a very pale skin color and not the same level of energy he always had, so his parents ( Ana Carolina Hernandez my sister and David Chalbaud) decided to take him to his doctor for a routine checkup.
On July 17th 2020 his parents received the devastating news, Manuel was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, one of the most aggressive types of Leukemia.
Manuel is an 11 years old boy who lives in Venezuela with his parents and his 14 years old sister. Unfortunately, due to economic situation in Venezuela they do not have medical insurance. Living conditions in Venezuela are precarious and it is extremely difficult to obtain the medical supplies necessary for a treatment that might take up to 2 years. There are just a few Hospitals that have the equipment and necessary supplies to do chemotherapy.
With your help we will achieve to cover the treatment, and the possible bone marrow transplant that doctors are anticipating.

I started this campaign at the request of my sister, to help my nephew cover medical expenses, medicines, transfusions, hospitalization, chemotherapy treatment, as well as household expenses, since both his father and mother cannot work for the moment. The idea is that they dedicate themselves to the care of Manuel, to obtain her medications, and to carry out all the necessary procedures for her recovery.
