We need your support to fund our summer sailing trip!

In August, we are taking 10 incredible young people who are seeking sanctuary in the North East on a 5 - day residential sailing trip in collaboration with our incredible partner Blue Spirit.

They will make new friends, try new activities and learn more about their new communities and how to improve their leadership skills. The residential will improve their English language and boost their confidence. Above everything else, they will have fun and have a chance just to be children and enjoy some time away from all of the worries and stress of day to day life.

For most of our young people, this will be the only time they go on holiday this year and we really want to give them the experience of having a summer holiday and to make this special for them.

All money raised will be spent directly on the summer residential.

Any funds raised above and beyond what is needed for the trip will go towards the ongoing costs of N.E.S.T in supporting the forced migration community in Newcastle and Gateshead
