We are a small Christian church that started in 1936 by Dr. Mildred Johnson Brostek, a 22-year-old missionary that preached there until she passed away at 84 years of age. The church has been part of the community for 72 years. It has done many outreaches to the community, but now needs your help. The original building is unsafe to use, so we hold service in a hall on the property with some standing outside the door to watch service. Most of the congregation is on limited income and cannot help financially with the building project. We do have $200,000 of the total saved up.

 

We have been working over 14 years to get approval to build this church. Due to city codes that had changed over the 72 years it has been a challenge. But God provided the miracle we needed, and now we have demolished the old building and we are close to getting a permit to rebuild. We are at the point of asking people to partner with us in helping to acquire funds to start rebuilding the church building, to further the gospel. We are in very remote area of the island and people really need this church for the community.

This church represents the true Hawaiians, please help us by partnering with us. Your support however so small is critical to our needs in helping us to further God’s work. After all, that is why God put us on this earth is to further his cause. Thank you!
