Hi, my name is Danielle.

My dad Pat was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2019. It’s been a difficult journey to say the least. Our family is heartbroken, but we're committed to making his remaining time as comfortable and meaningful as possible.

My parents have been married 45 years and they are the best you could ask for. They have always been there when needed, without asking for anything in return.

My mom has been our families biggest support. She is the glue that holds all of us together. She has to work full time and is unable to spend the time she deserves with my dad and help him with his care needs. I would like to be able to give her that opportunity without the added financial stress that comes from missing work.

As we navigate this difficult journey, we're facing significant stress and want to be able to spend as much time at home with my dad as possible. Financially this makes things very difficult because we all know how expensive life is and you do not get paid for compassion leave. That's why we're turning to our community for support.

Any contribution, big or small, will help alleviate some of the financial burden and allow us to focus on what matters most – spending quality time with my dad.
