We Need Your Help To Beat The Beast For Donna
This is the look of "Yeah, mofo I beat the beast! Bring it!" Cancer schmancer I'm talking INSURANCE!
Three years ago my cousin and one of my best fiend's in the whole wide world Donna had one of the happiest days of her life, outside of giving birth to her three awesome dudes, she was blessed with a new kidney! Her life can begin again without being strapped to a dialysis machine three days a week! That was short lived when cancer arrived last year and without an immune system to sustain George's survival (that's what she named her kidney) she's losing the battle to cancer.
Ya see, if George was attacked by her immune system it would be all over for him, but without an immune system the rest of the organs (Susan, Fay, Tara & Sam) are being attacked by the cancer, and the battleground are in its favor since she's on a plethora of meds to stop the immune system to save George. There is no immune system to accept the meds to fight the cancer to save the organs. It gets a little tricky and EXPENSIVE!
Let me elaborate...Donna has Metastatic RCC which metastasized to the liver. Docs found a bleeding mass Feb 2020, situated between pancreas, duodenum, small intestine. It's attached and the areas are very vascular. The part of the tumor attached to the duodenum has gone through it now. So far, no one has been able to stop the bleeding as it can't be pinpointed in the vascular mess. She's received more than 20 units of blood in the last 20 days. They've done a Bleeding Scan, CTS, MRIS, Colonoscopy, EGD and ordered an MRI to see if it's even possible to do a Whipple procedure (look it up, nothing cute about it not even the name). To add insult to injury they are now waiting on more blood and decided to go another route on the procedure. Whew! I'm exhausted....I need a break a.k.a. drink.
Ok, I'm back!
That being said, she got a call from the insurance company while in the hospital stating they need her to pay the co-pay & deductible.
That's where y'all come in.
I know co-pays and deductibles can be small sacrifices to most, but when you are sick you can't work and when you can't work you can pay the deductible or eat and keep a roof over your head.
So I'm reaching out to help our girl get back in the game. I can't even imagine how many zeros are attached to this insurance bill and thank goodness it's there to help her through. If we can help get this monkey off her back, and help her get to the finish line without stressing about potentially losing the insurance, I would be forever in your debt and very much grateful and so would Donna. Lets make her cry happy tears for once.
Much love to you all and thank you for listening.
xoxo
