I find myself in the uncomfortable position of reaching out for help, because over the past year my best friend has been going through a very difficult time.

Melón was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease (polyarthritis), which is a chronic disease that affects his joints and can cause him constant discomfort in his day-to-day life.

This diagnosis has led us to countless visits to the vet.

Throughout this time, Melón has undergone multiple surgeries and long-term corticosteroid treatments, one of which lasted around four months. As a result of both his illness and the medication, he now has severely weakened ligaments and must face yet another knee surgery.

At this moment, it has become very difficult for me to afford all of the treatments and surgeries. As many of you know, veterinary care is extremely expensive, and asking for help is not easy for me but Melón’s health and quality of life come first.

In order to raise the money needed for the urgent surgery he requires in January, I will be selling my merch and offering flash-price tattoos.

Because of this situation, Melón and I will be moving back to Spain together, so I can better manage everything and be fully present for his recovery.

Me encuentro en la incómoda situación de recurrir a ustedes para pedir ayuda, ya que durante el último año mi mejor amigo ha estado atravesando un momento muy difícil.

A Melón le diagnosticaron una enfermedad autoinmune (poliartritis), una condición crónica que afecta sus articulaciones y le provoca molestias constantes en su vida diaria.

Este diagnóstico nos llevó a innumerables visitas al veterinario. A lo largo de este tiempo, Melón tuvo que someterse a varias cirugías y a tratamientos prolongados con corticoides, uno de los cuales duró alrededor de cuatro meses. Como consecuencia tanto de su enfermedad como de la medicación, hoy tiene los ligamentos severamente debilitados y debe enfrentar una nueva cirugía de rodilla.

En este momento se me está haciendo muy difícil poder afrontar todos los tratamientos y operaciones. Como muchos saben, la atención veterinaria es extremadamente costosa, y pedir ayuda no es algo fácil para mí, pero la salud y la calidad de vida de Melón son mi prioridad.

Para poder reunir el dinero necesario para la cirugía urgente que necesita en el mes de enero, voy a estar vendiendo mi merch y realizando tattoos a precios flash. Debido a esta situación, Melón y yo vamos a estar regresando a vivir a España juntos, para poder manejar todo de la mejor manera posible y estar completamente presente durante su recuperación.
