Update : Thank you everyone who has donated. I will keep a running total of the expenses on the top of this post. We now have 4 green frame nets. 3 new replacement nets have been used. When we hit 1500 I will have enough to order 4 more replacement nets to keep ready and taped up. We will continue to fundraise to maintain the pickleball Nets. It seems like we need new nets every 4-6 months.

We have open play every morning at Diamond Head Tennis Courts in Waikiki. It is a fun and welcoming place for residents and visitors alike. Unfortunately, these nets have taken a beating over the years, and we need new nets regularly. We have purchased stronger oval framed nets that are easier to set up and still light enough to transport to and from the storage. These nets are more durable and less likely to fall during wind gusts.

 

Please support our Pickleball community in Waikiki. We will consistently need new nets as time goes on so we will keep this fundraiser open.
