Hello, my name is Toni Cooper. Im asking for help and prayers for my long time friend of 50+ years. My friend Peg, has suffered for years with asthma and other breathing problems all her life. Growing up she always had to have her enhalers, breathing treatment machine with her if she spent the night with myself and sisters. Rolling on to the present.....She is on a "Lung transplant" list. She has been on 24/7 oxygen for several years. Peggy is my best friend...She is a ray of sunshine, she's positive and loves life. Always has a beautiful contiguous laugh no matter what she's facing. And she use to do anything for you. She can't do much without our help. She lives in Northern California and she is on a very tight budget. Peggy has Doctor appointments at Stanford University on the 23,24,25,and 26th of October. Shell be hundreds miles away from home and that means hotel cost,gas cost and eating. Her caregiver (brother Jim) will be with her throughout this journey of a healthier life. After time her insurance will take over and things will get a little easier. After the transplant Peg will be housed in a hospital hotel for several months after her surgery. I do know that with prayer anything is possible. Any positive words or Any amount of donations will be welcome.
