On July 19th Ruca went into the emergency vet and we came out with saddening news. She was diagnosed with Intervertebral disc disease. Her hind legs aren’t functioning and she’s having a really hard time. I was told that getting her into surgery would be a difficult task, being that most vets are booked for at least 2-4 weeks out at the least. Being that this progresses extremely fast and can worsen suddenly with no warnings we needed to find a surgeon to take her in. We found one 4.5 hours away today the 20th and we’re in the car right now headed to get Ruca the help she needs and deserves. Anyone who knows Ruca knows she’s a very special soul full of love and personality. We aren’t sure how we’re going to swing this vet payment. So we’re asking for some help from our loved ones.
