We need help for Madison

Update- I want to let everyone know that Madison is coming home from Residential treatment today, after 22 days in Virginia! She is considered stable and optimistic. But her journey is not over. She is being referred to a Partial Hospitalization Program to continue treatment in New Jersey for the second part of her treatment plan. She stays in their care during the day, but she gets to sleep at home now for the second part, and I couldn't be happier having her back. We still have to pay for the Partial Hospitalization Program which is 4 weeks, so we are continuing to raise money to help support her care, which would never have been possible without all of your help.

We need help

Our daughter since the pandemic has been suffering with severe depression, anxiety and agoraphobia. We have tried everything to help her get on a path to normalcy. Recently she has become worse and with talking to her the 3 of us agree she needs more direct help. She told us nothing else is working. Her therapist recommended this teen mental treatment center that after looking we thought our insurance would cover it but after doing her virtual intake we found out our insurance will not cover any of it. It is a minimum 30 day program maximum 90 day. We are taking her October 1st to begin treatment. This isn’t a state run hospital that will feed her more meds and traumatize her more, those are the only facilities that our insurance will cover. This is a facility that focuses on uses therapy and activities within a group to get them on the way to recovering. The first 2 weeks are covered for costs by the centers administration as after intake they saw that she really needs this help and want her to get better. They offered this after we found out our insurance wouldn’t cover any of it. We are going to fight our insurance company to cover it but it’s looking very bleak that they will step up. The costs are $24,000 (if the 30 days works) having our child not home for 30 days minimum is breaking us down bad enough but with this financial said it’s even harder. Our only wish is we can get her back to her normal fun loving self without these issues that are plaguing her daily life. We’re starting this GoFundMe to see if we can generate anything that could help with this.
