Help True Colours Theatre Raise £30,000 for a New Lift – Make Our Space Accessible to All!

At True Colours Theatre CIO Foundation, we believe that everyone deserves a place in the spotlight – regardless of ability or mobility.

But right now, we face a serious barrier to inclusion: our venue does not have a working lift. This means some of our members and their families with physical disabilities are unable to access our main performance space without going around the outside of the building and using the fire door.

To access the cafe and toilets they have to go back through the fire escape door, around the outside of the building again and enter the building through the front door. This is not ok! Even worse when it’s raining!!

We’re launching this campaign to raise £30,000 for a brand new, fully accessible lift installation – and we need your help.

True Colours Theatre CIO Foundation is more than just a theatre company. We are a community, a safe space, and a creative home for children, young people, and adults of all abilities. Our inclusive theatre welcomes: Children and Young people;

• seeking confidence, connection, and a creative outlet

• who has ever felt left out or overlooked in traditional performing arts spaces

Our motto is simple: “You belong here.”

But right now, our building says otherwise to those with mobility issues.
