JESUS NEEDS A MIRACLE, COVID19 SUCKS
Donation protected
Jesus Compean (Chuy) is married to Chuyita Carreno Compean, father of Leslie, Kevin and Derek; he has been a hard worker and the main provider for his family.
He was admitted to the Hospital January 3rd for weakness, cough and breathing difficulties then we found out that he was positive for Covid19. As we all know his family couldn't see him due to hospital protocols; his O2 sat was at 64%. We were so optimistic about his recovery since he is only 61 yo, but surprisingly he declined very rapidly and his medical team put him on the ventilator a few days later as a life saving measure. He was then coma induced so his body could relax with the plan to waking him up in a couple days, but this didn't happen because when they tried to do it his blood pressure sky rocketed right away and doctors decided to monitor him before trying again. Then his kidneys started to fail, and then he accumulated air outside of his lungs for what they had to apply 2 tubes on the chest. Days later Chuy suffered 2 strokes. MRI's have revealed severe brain damage that will leave him partly blind and paralized on one side of his body. Further, the Covid infection has left him with only 5% functional lung capacity and unfortunately is not a candidate for a transplant. Even if he somehow is able to emerge from his coma Chuy will have to be in a skilled nursing home and in therapy on a perminant basis to accomidate the tracheotomy that had to occur. His damaged lungs now depend on the ventilator to breath. He will be monitored for improvement, but there is not much that can be done now other than wait and pray.
Chuy has been the best father, husband, brother, son; he always was there to help anyone that he knew was in need.
We are asking for your help to cover hospital cost and bills to ease the great stress and profound financial burden on his family, we fully understand the struggle everyone is going through at the moment but any kind of help is appreciated.
Understandably the family is is struggling through incredible emotional despair. Please give them some time to process and cope with this by refraining from calling or texting for now. Updates will be provided as often as possible on their behalf.
We are believers and think God has a plan and we know that nothing is impossible for him, we are also asking for prayers for him and his family, feel free to share this post. Thank you in advance and God bless you. ❤️
Much love,
