Greeting everyone. We are the family of Leonard Wayne Williams Jr. and we are in need of financial assistance.

On September 1, 2021 our brother Leonard (affectionately known as Man) was killed by his landlord in front of his apartment. There are several stories that are circulating about the events of what happened leading up to his murder, and the entire family has been left in the dark about the entire incident/investigation. The man that killed our brother was not charged, because it was ruled that he was defending himself against our brother, whom the DA stated was aggressive. The Washington City DA called this murder a “justifiable homicide”. As his family, we desire answers. Why was the investigation only 13 days? Why is the family not in the know about anything going on? How can you murder someone in front of their underaged daughters and get away with it, without even a slap on the wrist? Who are the witnesses? Why doesn’t what his daughter seen count as a valid testimony? Who shot our brother? Man was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, a single father, a friend to many, and just an all around amazing human being. The Washington City Police department has refused our right to the Freedom of Information Act, and will not share with us the police report, or the name of the man that murdered our brother.
