Hi, things have taken a turn for the worse. As you might know, Patt's Parkinson's disease has progressed very rapidly. I am her husband and full-time unpaid caregiver. Because of my own health issues (cancer, organ removal, diabetes, depression) and trying to care for and protect Patt, I am not employed right now. We are both immunocompromised and high risk for COVID, so we've been locked in tight in an attempt to survive. Besides, Patt cannot care for herself any more. And we need help. We have almost kept up with bills even though savings have been completely drained and I killed my meager retirement account. Our income is under $1k per month, so getting this far has been a challenge only made possible by the food bank and help from a few very loving friends. We just need a bump to get us through a month or so and pay some outstanding bills. Maybe some food, but at this point that seems like asking a lot. ☺️ So please do what you can, we'll be forever grateful.
