We Need a Better Venue – Let’s Build It Together

The Intensive Hip-Hop Weekend in Porto was full of heart. The vibes, the people, the dancing — everything was alive. But we faced one big issue: the venue couldn’t handle the heat — literally.

There was no proper ventilation, the air conditioning was weak, and due to residential rules, we couldn’t even open the windows. Dancers were sweating heavily, and some had to step outside just to breathe. That’s not the experience we want to give our community.

That’s why we’re asking for your support.

We’re now preparing for a bigger and better edition this September — the Intensive House Dance Weekend, a full 3-day experience — and we want to rent a proper venue like Hard Club in Porto. It costs €1,250, and while we’re doing everything we can to cover the costs, we need a little boost to secure the space for the battles and afterparty.

Every contribution makes a difference. Whether it’s €5, €20, or €100 — you’re helping us create a safer, more comfortable space where dancers can connect, grow, and fully enjoy the moment. And with your help, we can also lower ticket prices, making the event even more accessible to everyone.

We receive no government support or sponsorships — at least not yet. Until we make real noise in the Portuguese dance scene, this is entirely community-driven.

We are a non-profit organisation. No one keeps any money from these events — everything is reinvested to improve and elevate the next edition.
