WHO WE ARE + WHAT WE DO
We’re Trippy Shit, a growing, innovative brand that’s all about self-expression, community, and PLUR. From custom kandi beads to one-of-a-kind fashion and never-before-seen collabs with artists, collectives, and brands, we strive to design pieces that spark joy, connection, and individuality, all while staying eco-conscious.
Everything we print is made with PLA filament, which is a corn-based material, not your typical plastic. And that shimmer you see on our work? That’s not real glitter… it’s a light diffraction finish that leaves no residue or microplastic waste. Because we believe that the things we create should feel good and do good.
But recently, things came to a halt…
Our 3D printer, the machine we relied on to bring all of this to life, broke down. And we’ve been out of business for almost three months now.
It wasn’t just a random failure. The machine never truly delivered the quality that was advertised, and the customer support was almost nonexistent. When it broke completely, the manufacturer offered no options. We were left stuck.
What this has meant for us…
This brand isn’t just a creative outlet. It’s my livelihood and my only source of income. I’m disabled, and I live with chronic pain and ongoing stomach issues that make traditional work difficult and often impossible. Trippy Shit has been my way of surviving and thriving by doing what I love and creating, while also building something meaningful and empowering for others.
Losing the printer meant:
• Our shop had to pause completely
• We had to turn away artists and collectives who relied on us
• We lost critical momentum right as we were taking off
• And I lost my main source of income
The Next Step ✨
Our goal is to raise $3,000 for a new professional grade printer. One that delivers consistent quality and, most importantly, includes lifetime repair support. No expiration dates. No sudden shutdowns. No more fear of losing everything again.
This upgrade will help us get back to doing what we do best and KEEP it that way.
How you can help:
• Donate if you’re able
• Share this with your community
• Follow our journey as we rebuild
And when we’re back in action, we’ll be dropping new pieces, showing behind-the-scenes content, and giving shoutouts to every donor who helped bring Trippy Shit back to life.
Thank you for reading, thank you for caring, and thank you for believing in small creators like us.
