Hi everyone,
Thank you for taking a moment to read our story. Sharing something this personal isn’t easy, but it comes from a place of deep love and hope.
For two years, we tried everything we could to grow our family. We went through multiple fertility treatments, countless appointments, medications, procedures, and more emotional ups and downs than we can even describe. Eventually, we learned that our best chance of becoming parents was through donor‑egg IVF.
It was a long, exhausting, and incredibly emotional journey — but it brought us our beautiful son. The day we finally met him was the most overwhelming, joyful moment of our lives. He is truly our miracle, and we love him to pieces.
Now, we’re hoping to give him something we both deeply value: a sibling. A best friend. A partner in life. Someone to grow up with, laugh with, and have by his side long after we’re gone.
We’re preparing to start the process again soon. I have an appointment with our fertility doctor on May 13th, and we are praying that the donor we used before still has eggs available. Knowing that possibility is out there gives us so much hope — but the financial reality is overwhelming. Donor‑egg IVF is extremely expensive, and the costs are far beyond what we can manage on our own.
We’re already carrying debt from our first journey, and we’ve been doing everything we can to make smart financial decisions. We’ve adjusted our budget, lowered monthly expenses, and accepted help from family who have already been incredibly generous. We are so grateful for every bit of support we’ve received.
We also know times are tough for so many people. We don’t expect anything from anyone. Truly. But if you feel moved to help — even a small amount — it would mean the world to us. Every dollar brings us one step closer to giving our son the chance to experience the bond of a sibling, something we dream about every single day.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of our story in any way.
Your kindness means more than we can ever express.
With love and gratitude,
Caitlin & Family
