Hello Everyone.  My name is Barb Kane and I want to tell you about my bestest friend, Nicole and her awesome Mom, Karen.  They have been in my life forever.  I grew up in Karen's living room, went on vacations with the White family, and was treated as one of her own from day one.  Karen is simply one of the best women I know, incredibly strong, a little silly crazy, but always fun.  Both Nicole and Karen have been there for me and countless others. They are the first to jump in when help is needed and I don't think Nicole has ever come across a go fund me that she hasn't contributed to.  Well now they need a little help.  Karen was diagnosed with lung cancer over this past weekend and this comes as a huge blow to everyone who knows and loves her. We know that the type of cancer she is up against is at least Stage 3  and she is currently in the hospital waiting for the Doctors at Fox Chase to set a plan in action.  She is not able to work at this time.  Ofcourse Nicole's first instinct was to pick up as much time as she can at work to keep things afloat, but I just can't let that happen.  Karen and Nicole are and always have been a team and right now her place needs to be with her Momma.  I know first hand the time and expenses associated with this fight and I am asking for whatever you might be able to spare, money and prayers included, to help make this even a little less stressful on these ladies that I love so much.  You could also donate through venmo to either Nicole @Nicole-Brown-60 or myself @casadekane and I will make sure all funds go directly to them.  Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
