We Love You Forever and Always, Roem Quincena

On August 8, 2023, our beloved dad, Roem Bruegas Quincena, has finally found peace with our Lord. After battling multiple health issues, his heart was eventually strengthened in his glorified body.
Our family has definitely endured more grief to last a lifetime. Despite how much this hurts, our dad's strength and perseverance remains engrained into every fiber of our being.
Roem's tenacious drive to take care of his family has always been his #1 priority. From working two jobs as an ICU/ER Nurse to raising a beautiful family, nothing was more important to him than taking care of and providing for others. He single-handedly provided a home for all of his brothers and sisters to use as a springboard to immigrate to America. More recently, his sacrificial act of service has been taking care of his mother in Queens, NY for the past decade.
Roem was quite the character. He was always the life of the party and loved testing the boundaries of extremes. He's inspired so many of his family members to emulate this same work ethic. He has propelled many of us to reach for our wildest goals and pursue greater heights. Last but not least, he was unbelievably proud of all the achievements of his family members. His pride is left with his mom, Minerva, and siblings, Harland, Rachelle, Rowie, Warren, & Don. His legacy continues to live through his kids Michael and Abigael.
At age 56, none of his parting affairs were established, including the lack of life insurance. As such, we are graciously asking for any donations to help the family with putting together a proper memorial to commemorate a loving husband, brother, son, father, and friend.
God Bless,
The Quincena Family
