With great sadness, I, on behalf of my sister Amber Weeden and her man Roshawn Jackson, announce the birth and death of their beloved son, Royal Reign Jackson. Baby Royal was born prematurely on March 29, 2022, and came into this world 12 weeks and 3 days early. But that did not stop him from leaving his mark. With a huge cry that would make a mother's heart sing, he let his anxious parents know he was here and ready to fight. Over the next couple of days, he progressed wonderfully, having spent close time with his parents and all the fantastic staff at the UC Davis NICU. Things changed rapidly as he was diagnosed with a rare stomach disease called Necrotizing Enterocolitis (NEC) on April 8th, to which he lost his battle on April 9th, 2022.

Our families are deeply heartbroken for their family. Royal is survived by his parents, Amber and Roshawn and his older brother Ravelle, 9. We humbly ask for your help to allow us to lay baby Royal to rest. All funds will be given to the birth parents for funeral and memorial services and to cover some expenses during their grieving.
