Last week, our dear friend Alex Anttila was involved in a serious car accident in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.  After several surgeries for her many injuries, Alex is beginning on her road to recovery at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, Colorado.  


As most of you know, Alex is a beloved teacher in the Severe Special Needs Program at Cresthill Middle School.  Her beautiful heart, wit, and smile light Crestill’s hallways for every colleague and adolescent fortunate enough to know her.  For the students she works with every day, however, Alex’s academic and personal impact will last well beyond middle school.  Any of her former students can attest to this! 


Alex’s recovery process will be extensive, as will the medical costs associated with this terrible accident.  Any contribution to this campaign will make Alex’s journey easier and symbolize compassion and respect for this exceptional teacher.
