Hello my name is Diana, I'd like to share with you the story of my dear friend Viana.
About 3 weeks ago Viana started to have a horrible pain on the right side of her stomach. She couldn't handle the pain after awhile and ended up in the emergency room at the hospital. The doctors suspected it was her appendix but just to make sure they where going to get a CT scan. When the doctors returned with the results, they diagnosed her with appendicitis, but they also found a mass the size of a softball on the inside of her kidney. It worried the doctors but first for what was needed to be done, her appendix was removed the very next day.
Doctors advised for her kidney to be removed, but her insurance wouldn't be able to cover hospital costs. After recovering she went to get a second opinion at UCLA where they confirmed that it was a cancerous mass inside her kidney. Crazy to think this all happened in just 3 weeks!! The most amazing thing is that we see Gods hand through all of this.
After being approved through a program she'll be treated at UCLA and have her kidney removed tomorrow October 28th at 7:30 am.
On behalf of my friend, I would like to ask for two things. 1) Please pray for Viana, her husband and their 2 little girls. 2) Any monetary donation to help them through this hard time would be such a great blessing!
