Steve is a person who would literally give you the shirt off his back. He and his family have been through so much. We are hoping to raise funds to help with every day expenses. Deanna has been by his side since he was admitted to the hospital with Covid pneumonia.

Update on Steve Wall:

Steve has been in the hospital with covid pneumonia since 8/4. They moved him to ICU on 8/7 and then put him on the ventilator 8/9. This has been an excruciating time!!! He seemed to be doing ok on the ventilator for the first few days, but then he plateaued and then started going in the wrong direction. My sister suggested I ask his Dr about ECMO. He called Gwinnett where they have that program and yesterday evening I was told that they accepted him. Then it was all a whirlwind. The cardiologist from Northside Gwinnett came with a team, got him on ECMO and took him by ambulance to Gwinnett. ECMO is similar to dialysis, but rather than a kidney outside the body, it is heart and lungs. He will still be ventilated, but most of the work will be done by the ECMO giving his lungs a chance to rest and hopefully recover. They will likely get him on the tracheotomy soon so he will be able to wake up. This is not a guarantee that he will make it, but it is his last best chance. And with his immune system suppressed due to kidney transplant and other factors, it’s harder for him. But, it’s a chance!! Thank you for all the prayers so far and please keep them coming. ❤️
