We Love Our Sister

Our sister Sarah continues to undergo the biggest and hardest fight of her life!
Sarah Vestner was diagnosed with signet cell adeno carcinoma in January 2018 and has undergone chemotherapy (drugs to kill cancer cells) for the past 10 months. She also has been treated with naturopathic supplements during this time. Sarah found out recently that chemotherapy is no longer working (tumors have enlarged) and her only option at this stage is immunotherapy.
Immunotherapy, also known as biological therapy, uses your body's immune system to fight cancer. Cancer can survive unchecked in your body because your immune system doesn't recognize it as an intruder. Immunotherapy can help your immune system "see" the cancer and attack it.
We asked an angel to intervene and one did!
Sarah was accepted into a clinical trial in Kelowna where she will have immunotherapy administered. Her first appointment was Friday, November 2nd. We are so happy!!!
Our sister Sarah and her husband (Grant Vestner) and two children and two dogs (and her 7 brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces, and friends) thank all of you for helping her in her time of need and are grateful for the generosity that has been shown by everyone. Thank you so much!
Please know that funds received have and are being used to to offset the costs of naturopathic supplements (which are significant) and other drugs not covered by Health Canada.
Thank you for your continued support, prayers and love towards our sister Sarah!
