Help Kingo and Betty

Dear Friends and colleagues, The Covid-19 pandemic has undoubtedly had a major impact across the world significantly affecting the older generations. Not only is this illness devastating and isolating but a major financial burden to so many. Unfortunately, we have had to experience this first hand. Our dear friends Kingo and Betty are part of the regrettable statistics.   Kingo has been fighting for his life since March 17th, on and off the ventilator to keep him alive. He has fought a long, strenuous battle alone away from loved ones. While Kingo was fighting daily, his beloved wife, Betty, also struggled alone in quarantine.  It's been overwhelming to watch from afar the anguish Betty has had to endure. The rollercoaster of emotions has truly been unimaginable. We understand this is happening all over the world and this situation is not isolated to Kingo and Betty. None the less they are  our dear close friends.  Through the grace of God, this past week, Kingo has finally tested negative for covid 19. He is finally stable enough to go to a rehab hospital. Although Kingo is alive he has a long road ahead to recovery.   While Kingo is recovering, he obviously is unable to work at his  job,  an essential employee, as courier for an Immunology clinic.  Undoubtedly that is  where he was exposed to the deadly virus. Though small Kingo's income was much needed for him and Betty to maintain the ever growing cost of living in Colorado.  Considering their current circumstances, we would like to help them in this time of need and provide all that we can to support them.
