Nearly 4 months ago my friends, Mara, Michael and Eric, got together and created this wonderful spacewhere they invited you to, basically, step in and help save my life. And I'm very happy to report — it seems to be working!
This week, after more time, medicine and discomfort than I can believe, I am finally able to return to work part-time. Most of the past 4 months was spent laying either in the hospital or in my bed. Over that period I've consumed more Ensure and watched more MASH and ANDY GRIFFITH reruns that any human being should. So I'm ecstatic to finally be out and about with real people again — even thoughright now I'm slow as molasses and have to sit down a lot. I'm working on that...
Dear Friends and Family, a huge factor in my being able to recuperate as much as I have was YOU. You created the ability for me to continue to pay my living expenses and, more importantly, pay my whopping health insurance premiums. And that meant I'd still have a place to live and recuperate as well as access to all my doctors and necessary medical care.
I cannot state how enormously your kind wishes and financial support contributed to my recuperation thus far. I am forever grateful and the fact of this lovely Go Fund Me happening continues to bolster my drive to beat this damn cancer and get back to living!
