Our little family was just getting ready to finish this project and move into our new home when disaster hit. We were already unable to afford rent due to the pandemic, and while we are still waiting to receive pandemic assistance after months of waiting, we were gifted this opportunity to live on the road.

After months of building and pouring our blood, sweat, and soul into our new home, we were headed back to stay with family in Pittsburgh for a few weeks to finish the interior, and just a few days after arriving, our home was destroyed in an accident. While driving on highway PA-28 to pick up the rest of the wood for our interior, a women decided to park and turn her car off in the left hand lane in moving traffic. Fortunately, my partner Sofi and the other woman are completely fine, but unfortunately, we were only offered $500 in assistance, most of which will go to paying for towing services.




Due to the amount of damage, our home doesn't seem to be salvageable, and it will be towed off tomorrow to be junked. Fortunately, we were able to strip the interior, and were gifted some beautiful new flooring, which will at least help in the process. So we are asking for help and hope. Any and all money donated will be used toward buying a new van, and a place for us to lay our heads at night.
